Bid for Angel Locsin’s vintage car reaches P1.7 M

Angel Locsin had a meaningful 29th birthday celebration. Aside from spending her special day with her loved ones, the bidding for her 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle has already reached ₱1.7 million.

It will be recalled that the Kapamilya actress auctioned her dream car for the benefit of “Yolanda” survivors through ABS-CBN’s Sagip Kapamilya.

On April 23, Angel’s birthday, the vintage car had received 19 bid amounts from eight unique bidders.

The online auction started on April 21 via Sagip Kapamilya’s eBay account. According to reports, “The Legal Wife” star imported the vehicle from San Francisco, California in 2011.

In an ABS-CBN report, Sagip Kapamilya program head Jun Dungo said: “Angel really loved this muscle car. She saw the victims of typhoon ‘Yolanda’ and she donated her Chevelle for the love of our kababayans and kapamilyas.”

The bidding will end on May 1.
