Nadine Lustre: I am good, I am okay
It seems that Nadine Lustre’s fans do not have to be in deep worry for their idol, amidst all these controversies she’s facing, is still able to smile and say that she is okay.
In an exclusive interview with ABS-CBN News’ MJ Felipe, Nadine broke her silence about the many issues surrounding her.
JaDine fans were heartbroken when Nadine and her then-boyfriend James Reid, through a joint statement, confirmed that they have parted ways romantically. Despite assuring that they are in good terms and will still work together especially in music, the whole issue took different turns when alleged third party rumors involving Issa Pressman surfaced online. For days, Issa was continually dragged into the JaDine breakup that her sister Yassi, Nadine, and James had to air out their statements and denials to clear her out. Issa took to Instagram to give her side too which has all contributed to the dying down of the issue.
In the same interview, Nadine assured that “We are good.”
“That’s all everyone needs to know. I think the social media kasi just blew it out of proportion. Talagang medyo naging OA lang (Some just really overly reacted), but we are super good,” she said.
Nadine still said that she’s still open to work in a series with James in the future, but “right now kasi, the goal talaga is to work on other stuff separately.”
Aside from her love life, being the top of the entertainment headlines did not stop yet, especially when Nadine\s camp announced that she has “decided to terminate” her management contract with Viva Artists Agency (VAA).
However, she refused to give a comment on Viva’s big boss Vic Del Rosario’s statement, that he wants to talk to her.
More for Nadine

“I’m working on a lot of stuff now. I am really excited, also working on my music na. Finally, it’s going to happen this year.
A lot of surprises for you guys, I’m not allowed to say a lot. Pero abangan niyo na lang (But just wait for it),” she said.
Aside from these projects, Nadine revealed that taking all these challenges was “hard at first.”
“But at the end of the day kasi, I think to myself na parang, okay what is going to come out of this? After all this, when I’m done with this challenge, when I’m done with this heartache or whatever it is, I’m gonna be a stronger and better person. I would learn so much from that,” Nadine said.
The actress chooses to view all these with optimism and said that there are no shortcuts to these hardships that life throws at one.
“You have to go through it. And after you go through it, there’s so much growth. You learn a lot of stuff about yourself and it makes you a stronger person,” she added.
