MANILA — Malacañang on Wednesday said President Rodrigo Duterte has no plans to establish a revolutionary government during his term.

“The President’s remarks on a ‘revolutionary government’ is an approach to resolving the country’s endemic and structural problems hindering genuine progress.

“I was not joking but I am not into it. For the Philippines to really go up, sabi ko, ang kailangan ng mga tao is not martial law,” he said.

“Go for ginawa ni Cory (Aquino), revolutionary government.
