MANILA, Philippines — Sectoral groups led a solidarity rally near the US Embassy in Manila on Tuesday to denounce the US-Israeli war on Iran that has killed over 500 people in the Middle East.
Kilusang Mayo Uno (KMU) said.
(Fellow countrymen and workers, let us jointly fight the war aggression of the US and Israel on Iran! May we continue protesting against the US’s incitement of war! Fight the imperialist occupation and plunder!)
Similarly, the women’s national alliance GABRIELA expressed its condemnation of the deliberate attack by the US and Israel against the Iranian civilians.
(We strongly condemn the notorious US-Israel forces with their relentless bombings of civilians, particularly their attack on two schools in Iran last February 28.)
(These horrific events only prove the status of the United States as the Number One terrorist in the world.)

As of writing, the Philippine government has reported that a 32-year-old Filipino caregiver was killed during a missile strike in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Crisis alert levels remain hoisted in affected countries in the region, while voluntary and mass repatriations for overseas Filipinos remain challenged due to closed airspaces and commercial flight cancellations.
Based on the data of the Department of Foreign Affairs, there are approximately 2.44 million Filipinos across the Middle East, with 26,675 in Israel and 823 in Iran.
