ISTANBUL – Japan will use generative artificial intelligence (AI) to teach the Japanese language to children with foreign roots.

The move comes amid a shortage of teachers who can speak languages, such as Portuguese, Chinese, and Spanish, Kyodo News reported on Thursday.
