Filipino fast-food chain Jollibee set to open new store in Vancouver
Something ‘crispylicious’ and ‘juicylicious’ is frying soon in Vancouver!
The Filipino-favorite fast-food chain Jollibee is reportedly establishing its first location for Vancouverites at 833 Granville Street near the intersection of Granville and Robson Street.
Further details, such as when is the launching of the store or if it will have additional foods on its usual menu, are yet to be announced.
Nevertheless, Canadian Jollibee enthusiasts are thrilled to enjoy its famous Jolly crispy chickenjoy, Jolly spaghetti, yumburger, and peach mango pie! Some of you are, perhaps, craving for these right now and we definitely understand that *pats on the shoulder*. Vancouverites might not have an idea how much longer they have to wait for the store to swing its doors open, but at least it is clear that they will be having one near them and that they do not have to go to far places anymore just to satisfy their cravings for Jollibee food.
Jollibee, which always welcomes long lines of customers wanting to have a bite of their food, is the largest fast-food chain in the Philippines, currently operating over 1,150 stores nationwide, according to its website.
It also went global, having stores in Brunei, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, and the United States, aside from Canada.
In the Great White North, the first-ever Jollibee location was opened in Winnipeg, Manitoba last December 2016. The Filipino fast-food chain has also launched stores in Alberta, Ontario, and Saskatchewan.
In 2018, Jollibee announced that it is planning to open 100 locations in Canada within the next five years.
