Kathniel excited and pressured over ‘Pangako Sa ‘Yo’ remake

MANILA — Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla admitted that they feel pressured for the remake of the ABS-CBN series, “Pangako Sa ‘Yo.”

The series was first popularized by the tandem of Jericho Rosales and Kristine Hermosa.

“Sobrang saya ko sa trailer at nae-excite kami lalo ni DJ,” Bernardo said on Thursday night at the sidelines of the press conference for the said soap.

“Ako naman sobra akong nagagalak doon, grabe ang napanood ko [sa trailer]. Sobrang excited at kinakabahan din, siyempre,” Padilla added.

The remake of the series will replace “Forevermore,” another hit series of Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil.

“Nakaka-overwhelm, pressure din lalo. So kailangan naming gawin lahat para hindi namin sila [mabigo],” Bernardo said.

Asked about the status of their relationship, Bernardo only said:

“Okay lang, chill lang kami at excited kami pareho dito [sa series],” Bernardo said.

“Kapag nasa tamang oras,” Padilla added.
