MANILA – Actor Bret Jackson admitted that his busy schedule caused his break up with actress Andi Eigenmann. He also said that he had recently lost communication with her. The two had dated for several months.

“Andi and I broke up. It’s been a month or two,” Bret said in an interview, clarifying that neither he nor Andi were ‘bitter’ towards each other. “We’re not talking not because [we’re] bitter or something. It’s just that lately, ang daming work (there’s a lot of work). Super busy lately.”

“We talked about it. We were together, and then it’s over now. Pero friends pa rin kami (But we’re still friends),” he added.

When asked what his thoughts were if Andi and ex-boyfriend Jake got back together, Bret only said that he would be okay with it.

Amidst the separation, Bret had been thankful for the projects lined up before him. These came after the success of his film “Your Place or Mine.”

“Happy ako ngayon kasi I got my first endorsement, ang daming blessings na dumating  (I’m happy now because I got my first endorsement, a lot of blessings came),” said the actor, who has an upcoming show with TV5, “Wattpad Presents: Hot and Cold.”

Aside from the cause of the break up, Bret also revealed that he had a crush on co-star Ella Cruz whom he had an ‘instant connection’ with.

“It’s been a long time since I’ve seen Ella, parang mga 3 years. We were in Star Magic together that time. I saw her again in our taping and I said, ‘Hi!’ Parang may connection agad kami. Yung mga taping days, it was so good talaga. We just had a super good connection,” he said, adding that he finds Ella beautiful.
