QCPD bares arrest of 8 most wanted persons

MANILA — Senior Supt. Joel Pagdilao, Quezon City Police District (QCPD) director, announced on Wednesday the arrest of eight suspects who are among the 10 most wanted persons in the district and station levels in Quezon City.

In a statement, Pagdilao said that first in the list is Emmanuel Armas who was arrested last Nov. 6 by a combined team of District Intelligence Division (DID) and Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG). Armas has a standing warrant for robbery with homicide and he is the top 1 wanted person of Talipapa and top 9 in the list of QCPD.

Other arrested persons are the following: 1) Ronnie Gelera, top 1 of Police Station (PS)-9, arrested Nov. 1, case of robbery-holdup; 2) Delfin Balbuena, top 5 of PS-8, arrested Oct. 31, with a case of robbery; 3) Reymart Tabuena, top 2 of PS-11, arrested Oct. 31, with cases of robbery and theft; 4) Roy Zabala, top 2 of PS-1, arrested Oct. 29, with a case of robbery/snatching; 5) Alex Lachica, top 10 of PS-7, arrested Nov. 9, with a case of robbery; 6) Emmanuel Obligar, top 9 of PS-10, arrested Nov. 12, drug case; 7) Roberto Delos Reyes, top 9 of PS-1, arrested Nov. 10, with drug-related case.

Pagdilao said the arrests of these wanted persons were the result of the QCPD’s aggressive campaign against criminal elements as ordered by no less than the Secretary of the Interior and Local Government Manuel A. Roxas II and Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista.
