MANILA — A 20-year-old badminton player from De La Salle University (DLSU) confirmed that he is in a relationship with comedienne Ai-ai delas Alas.

Gerald Sibayan, a Sports Management student, admitted through Facebook chat that he is Delas Alas’ new lover.

According to report from the Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP) on Monday, they sent a message to Sibayan asking if they are indeed in a relationship. Sibayan replied, “Yes. God Bless you.”

Sibayan was named “Rookie of the Year” by the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). Delas Alas acts as the manager of the badminton team of DLSU.

Earlier reports mentioned that Delas Alas wants to keep the identity of her boyfriend a secret.

She was previously married to businessman Jed Salang.
