In pursuit of its vision of providing a highly responsive system dedicated to the delivery of effective service, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) has put up measures designed to ensure that clients applying or renewing their passports at DFA-Aseana (DFA-Office of Consular Affairs) will be able to do so with ease, speed, and comfort, especially during the height of the summer season and the duration of the temporary passport releasing scheme from April 1 to 14, 2014.

DFA-Aseana has increased the number of passport application processors in order to ensure speedy verification of documents. This step is done at the 1st Floor Passport Processing Section followed by the payment of fees and the capturing of the biometrics of the passport applicants at the 2nd Floor Passport Enrollment Center. This measure decreases the queuing time spent by applicants for passport application processing.

Companions can wait for the passport applicants in the lobby, away from the heat. Applicants done with their passport applications can exit through the lobby of DFA-Aseana.

Help Desks are also stationed at the lobby for passport applicants with queries—particularly regarding early passport releasing during the maintenance of the e-Passport system.

A similar arrangement is made for those who opted to have their passport applications handled by travel agencies.

DFA-Aseana normally processes around 2,600 passport applications every working day.  It is located at Bradco corner Macapagal Avenue in Aseana Business Park in Parañaque City, a few minutes away from SM Mall of Asia, and it is the home of the Office of Consular Affairs of the Department of Foreign Affairs.  It is open from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Mondays to Fridays (except public holidays).

The Department of Foreign Affairs assures the public that it gives their concerns and needs the highest consideration.
