A journey home: VIP Tour invites Filipinos abroad to rediscover the Philippines

For Filipinos living thousands of miles away, coming home can be more than a trip, it can be a journey back to their roots.

The 2027 Very Important Pinoy (VIP) Tour: Winter Escapade Edition is inviting Filipinos and Filipino-Americans in the US and Canada to explore the Philippines from February 7 to 17, 2027.

The 10-day adventure will take participants from Manila to destinations including Siargao, Bohol, Camiguin, Leyte and Legazpi-Naga, before offering a choice between the cultural flavors of Iloilo-Bacolod or the island escapes of El Nido.

But beyond beaches, food and sightseeing, the tour hopes to reconnect overseas Filipinos, especially the younger generation, with the country they call home.

For previous participant Meg Ilagan, the experience brought a sense of fulfillment from reconnecting with the Philippines.

With packages starting at USD 1,658, the VIP Tour offers Filipinos abroad a chance to do more than visit the country, it invites them to come home, rediscover their roots and create new memories along the way.
