UPAABC successfully closes 2025 thru 7th “The Door Is Open” project

VANCOUVER, British Columbia — The UP Alumni Association in British Columbia (UPAABC) successfully led its annual “The Door Is Open” outreach in the Downtown Eastside in Vancouver on December 28, 2025.

The group reportedly served 210 meals and distributed 200 blessing bags with the help of 30 dedicated volunteers who believed in the project’s cause.

“This project’s record-breaking success was only possible because of the synergy between our multi-generational volunteers and our dedicated sponsors,” UPAABC wrote on its official website.

“What a great way to end the year 2025, helping our underprivileged brethren,” it added.

UPAABC also extended its wholehearted gratitude to the outreach’s sponsors and donors who contributed in cash and in-kind, ensuring that the compassion-driven goal of the project came to fruition.
