MANILA – Sen. Bong Revilla on Wednesday claimed that “unforeseen hands” were involved in the Sandiganbayan’s decision to junk his bail petition.

“We respect the decision of the court. We have to accept it. But we see unseen hands who meddled in this case,” he added.

He also said in a statement that the Malacanang is only trying to make him its “trophy” following the decision of the court which turned unfavorable to him.

“The decision was very different from what we had expected. It’s really disheartening. Malacañang wants me to be its trophy,” Revilla said in Filipino.

Despite the anti-graft court’s ruling, Revilla’s fight is far from over.

He said in the same statement that he will seek for a reconsideration of the court’s decision on Tuesday.
