MANILA — The Department of Justice (DOJ) panel of prosecutors has set the preliminary investigation into the case of Guillo Cesar Servando who died due to hazing.

According to Assistant State Prosecutor Stewart Allan Mariano, one of the members of the panel, the hearing will be conducted on July 31 and Aug. 7, 2014.

Mariano said they have already sent subpoena to all the parties involved in the case for the conduct of the investigation.

The case stemmed when the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and the Makati City Police filed the complaint for violation of Section 4 of Republic Act No. 8049, or “The Anti-Hazing Law”, against the 20 suspects.
