EDMONTON — Alberta has launched a review of a program that helps people with developmental disabilities.

The government says it wants to improve the system and will seek input from people receiving assistance, their families and staff.

The Persons with Developmental Disabilities program includes services that help people live at home, get job training and take part in community activities.

The Community and Social Services department did not release the terms of the review, when it will be complete or whether it will make the findings public.
