Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is calling for stronger mobilization efforts as the country continues to face challenges in maintaining enough troops for its ongoing war with Russia.
Zelenskyy said Ukraine needs to improve the process of recruiting and mobilizing personnel to ensure that its armed forces have sufficient manpower.
The Ukrainian president also emphasized the need to provide better support and conditions for military personnel as Kyiv continues its defense against Russian forces.
His remarks come as Ukraine faces continued pressure on the battlefield and seeks to maintain its military capabilities amid the prolonged conflict.
Zelenskyy has repeatedly appealed to Ukraine’s international partners for additional military assistance, including weapons and air defense systems, as the war continues.
The mobilization issue remains a major challenge for Kyiv as it seeks to sustain its forces while Russia continues efforts to expand its own military manpower.
