New Richmond Hub Brings Together Flexible Workspace and Creative Production Facilities

Richmond, BC — Work Commons and Westside Studios celebrated the grand opening of their new coworking and creative studio space in Richmond on the evening of Thursday, July 16, 2026. The event welcomed an estimated 100 attendees, including creators, photographers, filmmakers, entrepreneurs, small business owners, and community members.

Located at 13888 Wireless Way, the new space brings together Work Commons’ flexible coworking environment with Westside Studios’ creative production facilities. Guests had the opportunity to explore private offices, shared workspaces, meeting rooms, and studio spaces designed for photography, videography, podcasting, broadcasting, content creation, workshops, and business events.
A highlight of the evening was a workshop led by Westside Studios Co-Founder William Orsua, who introduced guests to the studio’s cyclorama space and demonstrated how it can be used for photography, video production, and creative content projects. The event also featured a live demo station in the podcast room, giving attendees a closer look at the space’s production capabilities for interviews, podcasts, livestreams, and branded media.

Throughout the evening, guests toured the facility, connected with other local professionals and creatives, and learned more about the shared vision behind Work Commons and Westside Studios: to create a flexible community hub where people can work, create, collaborate, and grow.
