VANCOUVER, Canada – The Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver held a talk entitled “Filipino Women Entrepreneurs 2.0: Scaling the Spirit of Leadership” on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 in celebration of National Women’s Month 2026. The event was held at the Consulate Lobby, 660-999 Canada Place in Vancouver.

The speakers included Ms Maj Yee (president and managing director of Goldilocks), Ms Lynne Gonzaga (CMO and co-founder of A Laque), and Ms Mia Pestano CEO and founder of Whisker Beans Coffee Co.), with Ms Sammie Jo Rumbaua as panel moderator.

A live stream was also provided for those unable to watch in person.

The PCG Vancouver team took pictures with the attendees and speakers after by the Sails of Light as it lit up purple to celebrate International Women’s Month.
