In a Facebook post, Marcos expressed his thrill about DAMAC Digital’s planned investment in the Philippines, notably, the country’s largest data center, which will have a capacity of up to 250 MW.
“This positions the Philippines as an emerging data center hub in the region. We continue to welcome investments that strengthen our digital economy, create high-quality jobs, and prepare our country for the demands of the future,” Marcos wrote.
The president also met with the Filipino community in Abu Dhabi, extending his warm regard to Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) for consistently showcasing professionalism and the Bayanihan spirit to other nationalities.
“Makakaasa ang ating mga kababayan na ang pamahalaan ay patuloy na tutugon at aalalay, saan man kayo naroroon sa mundo,” said Marcos.
(Our fellow countrymen abroad can rest assured that the Philippine government will continuously provide assistance, wherever they may be in the world.)
