Consul General Gina A. Jamoralin Graces the “Never Dim My Light”: Lapu-Lapu Victims Benefit Concert

Vancouver BC, 24 June 2025 – Consul General Gina A. Jamoralin graced the “Never Dim My Light,” a benefit Concert for Lapu-Lapu Day victims which was held at South Delta Baptist Church in Tsawwassen, Delta on 22 June 2025.

In her remarks, Consul General Jamoralin highlighted the Consulate’s continued efforts to support the victims of the Lapu-Lapu tragedy and expressed heartfelt gratitude for the Filipino community’s united response, compassion, and solidarity.

The members of the Filipino-Canadian community including Federal government officials including Members of Parliament (MPs) Parm Bains, Chauk Au as well as Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) Ravi Kahlon, Teresa Wat, Steve Kooner, Hon Chan, City of Delta Mayor George Harvie, and other elected representatives, attended the event.

The evening featured powerful musical performances by Warren Dean Flandez, joined by the Top Line Vocal Collective, the vibrant Himig Kabataan Cultural Society, and a lineup of special guest artists.
