Former “Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11” housemates and rising Gen Z Kapamilya stars JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith are set to make their acting debut as a loveteam in the upcoming iWantTFC original digital series, “Ghosting,” premiering this July.

Marking their first onscreen project together, JM and Fyang, together known as “JMFyang,” step boldly into the spotlight in this eight-episode romantic supernatural series that blends heart-fluttering “kilig” with youthful emotional depth and whimsical intrigue.

“Ghosting” follows a feisty student who escapes to her grandmother’s quiet provincial home after being ghosted, only to fall for a mysterious probinsyano who turns out to be a restless soul. What begins as a classic story of moving on transforms into an unforgettable romance that reaches beyond the boundaries of life and death.

The series also headlines the official launch of “iWant,” the all-new version of iWantTFC debuting this July. Featuring a sleeker user interface and a more personalized viewing experience, the new “iWant” promises to bring Filipino feels to audiences worldwide. “Ghosting” serves as a first taste of the platform’s refreshed direction, positioned as one of its flagship titles under the rebrand.

Joining JMFyang in the series are fellow Kapamilya stars “Pinoy Big Brother Connect” ex-housemate Kobe Brown, “Pinoy Big Brother Luck 7” ex-housemate Vivoree, “He’s Into Her” star Gello Marquez, and award-winning actresses Ces Quesada and Ruvy Ruiz, completing a strong ensemble that brings warmth, charm, and complexity to the world of “Ghosting.”

Directed by Ted Boborol, known for hit titles like “Vince & Kath & James,” “James & Pat & Dave,” “Finally Found Someone,” and “Taiwan That You Love,” the series delivers a signature mix of heartfelt storytelling and cinematic flair, exploring themes of longing, connection, and love that transcends the ordinary, even the afterlife.

“Ghosting” will stream exclusively on iWant this July. Get easy access to iWant’s content library for free. Aside from portable devices, users can enjoy the iWant viewing experience on a larger screen with select devices, including Chromecast and AirPlay.
