Cebu Pacific to launch Manila-Da Nang flights in December
MANILA – Low-cost airline Cebu Pacific (CEB) is launching a new route, Manila to Da Nang in Vietnam, on Dec. 7.
“Cebu Pacific is thrilled to fly to Da Nang as we continue to grow our network and provide affordable and convenient air travel outside the country,” CEB’s Director of Corporate Communications Carmina Romero told the Philippine News Agency (PNA) on Tuesday.
The airline currently operates in 24 international destinations.
Da Nang, she said, is “a perfect mixture of nature and culture, making it a top destination for unforgettable adventures.”
The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said CEB and the Philippine Airlines fly to and from Vietnam, but only in Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) and Hanoi.
The MIAA also confirmed that Vietnam Airlines does not fly between Manila and Vietnam.
CEB will fly between Manila and Da Nang thrice weekly, every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
Flights bound for Da Nang will depart the Ninoy Aquino International Airport at 7:30 p.m. and arrive at 9:30 p.m. (Vietnam time). The return flight will depart Vietnam at 10:30 p.m. (Vietnam time) and arrive in Manila at 2:20 a.m. local time.
This new route may be booked for as low a PHP1 one-way base fare exclusive of fees and surcharges, from Aug. 22 to 25 for travel between Dec. 7, 2023 and March 30, 2024.
“Through our ‘piso sale,’ we are inviting everyone to come and experience the unique charm of this city,” Romero said.
