This is definitely a great new for a single mom like me but if you analyzed closely this salary hike doesn’t compensate enough on all the price hike that did and would still take place in the country. The extra salary would just cover the price hike for the future and it would still be the same situation wherein the salary is just enough to fed the family but not enough to have savings. Fuel price hikes for example are occurring at the same time of salary increase and it someway it feels useless to have the increase in stipend if it would just go to expenses again. What would be a great solution to all the masses would be price reduction to all daily necessities for that would greatly benefit not just the working class but also the poor. Even without salary increase our family could still enjoy our salaries for we would feel there would still be enough to save for the future.
