‘Please watch out for it:’ Coldplay to perform on ‘ASAP Natin ‘To’
British rock band Coldplay will be appearing on a Sunday noontime variety show in the Philippines.
ABS-CBN’s ASAP Natin ‘To shared the news on social media, posting a video of the band’s vocalist Chris Martin and lead guitarist Jonny Buckland where they invited the audience to watch their performance.
“Hi I’m Chris and this is Jonny, saying hello to everyone listening in the Philippines,” Chris began.
Jonny then said, “Please catch our latest single ‘Higher Power.'”
Coldplay also posted about their upcoming performance in the Philippine variety show on their Facebook page.
“Hello Kapamilya! The band will be performing Higher Power for ASAP Natin To LIVE this Sunday, July 11, 12 NN on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, and TV5,” it said.
“Please watch out for it – it’s a special one!” it added.
Coldplay released “Higher Power” in May.
“Higher Power is a song that arrived on a little keyboard and a bathroom sink at the start of 2020. It was produced by Max Martin who is a true wonder of the universe,” they earlier said.
The song also has an acoustic version which was released in June.
Some of the band’s hit songs include “Fix You,” “The Scientist,” and “Paradise.”
