Megan Young, Mikael Daez bid farewell to their first home
It is time for Miss World 2013 Megan Young and actor Mikael Daez to say goodbye to the “first home” that they lived in as a married couple to move into a new place.
Megan shared this in an Instagram post, saying that moving out of their home made her both “sad” and “happy.”
“So sad to be leaving this place because it was our first home as husband and wife but I’m happy we are moving to a place that we can finally call our own,” she said.
Megan said they started packing up their belongings two weeks ago to avoid a stressful moving out.
“That was probably the best decision we made for this transition. Can’t wait to fix up our new place! And can’t wait to declutter!!” she added.
Mikael, meanwhile, said they were “95% complete with several days to spare” on the process of moving out.
“We planned super early and made sure to not overwork ourselves during each moving day,” he wrote in an Instagram post.
“We ended up with a happy pace and now it’s time to properly settle in our new home which is a maze of boxes and garbage bags. Cheers to a super fresh start in 2021,” he continued.
In an episode of their Behind Relationship Goals podcast titled, “Goodbye, Manila! We’re changing our lives forever,” in December 2020, the couple talked about their plan to move to Megan’s hometown, Subic.
Megan and Mikael have been married for a year. They marked their first wedding anniversary this January, exchanging sweet messages to each other on Instagram. To recall, the couple tied the knot twice last year, with the first ceremony held on January 10 in Nasugbu, Batangas, while the other one was on January 25 in Subic, Zambales.
“One year married to my Fofo and officially 10 years together,” Megan earlier said in an Instagram post, referring to Mikael.
“Cheers to more years together!! Looking forward to our future – Lola Bonez and Lolo Fofo,” she added.
Mikael, for his part, greeted Megan, “Happy 10th, MadamBonez.”
