Her manager also shared the news on Instagram, congratulating the actress.

In a news release by ABS-CBN, Janine will be joining the network’s musical variety show “ASAP” as a host. She is also set to do a teleserye under Dreamscape Entertainment, as well as a Star Cinema movie.
Her contract with GMA ended in November 2020. During her time with the Kapuso network, she starred in teleseryes such as “Villa Quintana,” “Dangwa,” “Legally Blind,” and “Victor Magtanggol,” among others.
Also in November, she bagged the Best Actress award at the 43rd Gawad Urian Awards for her role in the film “Babae at Baril.”
In her Instagram post that month, she thanked the Manunuri ng Pelikulang Pilipino for recognizing her and the whole “Babae at Baril” team’s hard work.
“So honored and humbled and grateful to be part of team #BabaeAtBaril!! Hindi man tayo nakadalo sa New York at Osaka, ibang klaseng karangalan ang mapansin ng ating Gawad Urian (While we might not have been able to attend in New York and Osaka, it is a different honor to be noticed by our own Gawad Urian),” she earlier said.
