“Ordinance no. 8692 an ordinance furthermore amending Section 1 of ordinance no 8616, as amended by ordinance no 8647, by imposing the curfew for all persons except minors in the city of Manila from 12 am to 4 am until 30 November 2020, and from 12 am to 3 am starting December 1,” the ordinance reads.

Domagoso said the decision was based on their meeting with Metro Manila mayors to further accommodate more businesses, help them survive the Covid-19 pandemic, and assist employees return to their work.

With the new curfew hours, Domagoso called on all the barangay officials as well as heads of the Manila Police District to strictly implement the same.

Meanwhile, Domagoso clarified that the curfew for minor children remains the same.

We still have the curfew for minors, one is the general curfew, minors are not included in Ordinance 8692, they are still under Ordinance 8547. For the minors, their parents will be liable if their minor children are caught on the streets during their curfew hours),” said Domagoso.
