The Government of Canada is pleased to celebrate the first anniversary of the Samuel De Champlain Bridge. This elegant and modern piece of infrastructure is designed to meet the various mobility needs of residents of the greater Montreal area and facilitates the transportation of essential goods worth billions of dollars annually.

Thanks to its innovative design and high-quality construction, the Samuel De Champlain Bridge has become one of the greatest successes among key infrastructure projects in Quebec and all of Canada.

Quotes

“The Samuel De Champlain Bridge allows people to travel from one shore to the other year–round, whether by car, truck, foot, bike and soon, on the Réseau express métropolitain light rail train. It lives in harmony with its environment and in solidarity with all citizens, as its rainbow lights have reminded us over the last few months.
