1 new Covid-19 case, 3 new deaths among overseas Pinoys: DFA

MANILA – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) reported Sunday that only one Filipino abroad was infected with the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), bringing the total number of persons overseas contracting the disease to 2,523.

One more person has recovered while three new deaths were recorded in Europe and the Middle East.

No new reports were received from the Americas and Asia and the Pacific.

The total number of recovered cases overseas is now 879. The death toll has climbed to 294.

Meanwhile, a total of 1,350 Filipinos abroad are still undergoing treatment.
