MANILA — Singapore will donate 3,000 testing kits for the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) and one polymerase chain reaction (PCR) machine, Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. said Sunday.

Locsin made the announcement through his Twitter account.

On Saturday, Chinese Ambassador Huang Xilian turned over a total of 100,000 Covid-19 test kits to Locsin and representatives of the Department of Health (DOH).

In addition to the test kits, China also donated at least 10,000 pieces of N95 masks, 100,000 surgical masks, and 10,000 personal protective equipment.

On Wednesday, Senator Manny Pacquiao donated 600,000 face masks to various frontliners serving the country amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
