Former teen actress Angela Zamora arrested over selling illegal drugs

Star Magic batch 1997 member Angela Garcia Bobis, better known as Angela Zamora, was arrested in Bacoor, Cavite last Monday, July 15 after a buy-bust operation where according to ABS-CBN, her partner was caught selling illegal drugs.

Zamora’s live-in partner, Vladimir Bersana, was nabbed by Bacoor City Police Station’s Lt.

Col. Vicente Cabatingan, Bersana eventually identifying the location of his companions – the list including Zamora, Loro Lopez, Christian Lawrence Macanlalay, and Jovencio Isler.

More than P68,000 worth of shabu was acquired by authorities, totalling 10.08 grams. 

Zamora now joins the four other suspects at the Bacoor City Detention Center, where they may face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Being part of Star Circle Batch 5, Zamora had roles in 1998 films “Gangland,” “Ang Lahat ng Ito ay Para Sa’yo,” and “Nagbibinata.” Baron Geisler, Shaina Magdayao, Bernard Palanca, Marc Solis, Thou Reyes, and John Lloyd Cruz are also part of the same batch.
