Kathryn Bernardo celebrates 23rd birthday

Kapamilya actress Kathryn Bernardo made sure to celebrate her 23rd birthday, which is on March 26, with a bang through back-to-back parties.
To anticipate her birthdate, Kathryn’s mom Min had a get-together with her family, where on and off-screen partner Daniel Padilla was also spotted. In a video posted by “Tita Min” (which is what Kathniel fans call the Teen Queen’s mom), she’s heard sharing a message to her daughter saying in a mix of English and Filipino, “Sixteen years ago when you were just starting out and we were lining up for auditions. Remember, my daughter? Your journey was not easy. But now, after all the tears and sacrifices, you can see.
Everything was worth it.” She adds, “Thank you for being a good daughter to your father and I, a loving sister, and a caring aunt.
You always say that you’re not perfect, but I want you to know that your imperfections are not your flaws, they are your beauty.”
Two days prior to the birthday salubong, Kathryn visited O-Bar in Pasig, which is a gay bar, with her “The Hows of Us” co-star Juan Miguel Severo and her glam squad, which included her fashion stylists, hair stylists, makeup artists, and photographers. She treated this as an after-party to the Guillermo Mendoza Awards on Sunday, March 24, where she and Daniel were hailed Phenomenal Stars of Philippine Cinema.
Juan Miguel shares a selfie of him and Kathryn from the night of partying on Instagram, captioned in Filipino, “Of all people who would bring me to Obar, it was you!” During the night, which carried over to Monday morning, the birthday celebrant was seen dancing with the drag queens, blowing out a cake on stage, and taking photographs with the performers.
According to Daniel’s mom Karla Estrada, Kathryn is now taking a lowkey vacation with Daniel to finish the birthday festivities.
