Kapuso actor Mike Tan has revealed to his followers that his baby girl has been born last Tuesday, December 4.

As his first post as a Dad, the baptized Born Again Christian shares a photo of himself carrying the baby adding a Bible verse from Ephesians 6:4 that said, “Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.” A few days prior to that, Mike was seen folding pink baby clothes, captioning the post, “I have never been this excited in my life! See you real soon, little one!” His co-stars were quite to congratulate the new dad, like Marco Alcaraz, Chynna Ortaleza, Yasmien Kurdi, and Dianne Medina, to name a few.

Mike, who was originally discovered on “StarStruck,” and his non-showbiz girlfriend were together for 12 years before the couple got married last January 22, six months after they got engaged on July 8, 2017.  When talking about his wife, Mike shares in Filipino, “Maybe because we’ve been together for so long, I’ve also been preparing for her for so long. Because what I like about us, before I do anything, I want to be prepared, and I can accept all the responsibilities that come into our life. If she gets pregnant, I’m also ready.”

Mike and his wife announced their pregnancy on July 16, quoting Psalm 127:3 that says, “Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from Him.” In an exclusive interview, Mike told Pep.ph that he wants his baby to grow up like him and his wife, stating in Filipino, “First, that he/she may have an intimate relationship with God and second, that they know how to respect people no matter from which walk of life.”

Yesterday, Mike’s co-star in Ika-6 Na Utos Rich Asuncion also gave birth to a beautiful baby girl.
