Three Philippine sports patrons nominated for Executive of the Year

Ronald Mascarinas of Bounty Agro Ventures Inc., Jean Henri Lhuillier of JP Lhuillier Group of Companies Inc., and Dennis Uy of Phoenix Petroleum Philippines Inc. are three out of seven nominees for Executive of the Year at the 2018 Asia CEO Awards.

The three are known not only for their success in business but on their impact in the local sports industry as well. Mascarinas is the founder of the #ManokNgBayan campaign, which is a collaboration with Chooks-to-Go that sponsors aspiring Olympians. He has also been an open supporter of the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas program

On the other hand, Lhuillier is the chairman of the board for the Philippine Tennis Association as well as the manager of the national men’s and women’s softball teams.

Besides being the owner of Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) team Phoenix Fuelmasters, Uy acts as the presidential adviser for sports and founding owner of Siklab Pilipinas. Siklab Pilipinas sponsors under-funded individual sports in the country.

Among the nominees are also Alexander Gamboa of AG&P, Alfredo Pascual representing the University of the Philippines (UP), Conrado Diezo of CDJ Group Construction, and owner of J&J Philippines Jeffrey Go.

Winners will be announced at the 2018 Asia CEO Awards set to take place at the Marriott Hotel in Pasay on October 16.
