BIÑAN CITY, Laguna — Kiefer Ravena’s much-awaited homecoming is not going to happen.

The NLEX rookie will miss the Visayas leg of the PBA All-Star Week at the University of San Agustin Gym in Iloilo City, which is ongoing as of posting time.

According to Commissioner Willie Marcial, Ravena was recalled by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP), but the league’s top official did not elaborate.

However, he added that the SBP will call a press conference on Monday to clarify things up.

Ravena played in the first leg of the All-Star Week in Digos on Wednesday night, suiting up for the Gilas training pool, also known as the Smart All-Star National Team that played the Mindanao All-Stars.

Ravena was actually listed as well for the Smart All-Stars in the Batangas leg on Friday, but he was not in attendance.

Ravena is supposed to play for the Visayas All-Stars on Sunday night, but Marcial’s announcement means he will not be around as well.
