After the success of their romantic film 100 Tula Para Kay Stella, Bela Padilla and JC Santos will once again be seen together in the big screen as the two will co-star in another movie.

The good news was announced by Bela and JC on Instagram, revealing that they are currently filming “The Day After Valentines” under John Paul Laxama, who also directed 100 Tula Para Kay Stella.

Even though the movie is clearly a romantic film, Bela and JC did not give their fans any further details yet on what the story is all about. The stars only disclosed the names of the characters they will be playing which are Kai and Lani.

Before the two of them worked together in a project, Bela earlier said that JC has been on her list of actors she wishes to work with someday.

When they first met, the 26-year-old actress recalled that her first impression of JC was that he is a good actor.

“Magaling kasi nanood po ako ng premiere ng ‘Till I Met You.’ Natuwa ako kasi hindi stereotype iyong atake niya sa role niya… Sobrang subtle ng acting (He is a good actor when I watched the premiere of ‘Till I Met You.’ I was amazed because his delivery of his role is not stereotypical. His acting was very subtle),” Bela said.

“First impression ko talaga, magaling siya and seryoso siyang artista (he is a great and serious actor). He’s here to stay,” she added.

The 29-year-old actor, on the other hand, said that Bela was easy to work with and that she is smart and funny.

“She’s a lot of things. She’s wonderful, she’s also a writer. She’s a great actress and the scenes went by effortlessly,” JC told Preen Inquirer on August 18 last year.

Bela and JC became good friends in real life since working together on their recent film.

100 Tula Para Kay Stella, which revolves around the story of a shy freshman Psychology student Fidel Lansangan (played by JC) and his love intertest Stella Puno (played by Bela), bagged the Audience Choice Award in the Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino 2017.
