MANILA — All branches of Philippine Savings Bank (PSBank) will be closed on April 9, 2018, a holiday, in line with the commemoration of the Araw ng Kagitingan (Day of Valor).

In an advisory, the bank, however, assured its clients that all its 609 automated teller machines (ATMs) will be online on Monday. “PSBank Mobile and PSBank Online (Internet banking) facilities will be available for your banking needs,” it said.

Amid the temporary suspension of bank operations on Monday, the bank said all payroll crediting on April 9 will proceed.  Bills payment due on April 9 that are enrolled under the automatic debit agreement will also proceed, it said.

For PSBank loans due to Monday, payments will be value dated on its original date but accounts will be debited the following day. “Accounts not debited on April 9 due to insufficient funds should be funded by April 10 to avoid penalties,” the advisory said.

Check clearing will also be suspended on April 9  and those received after the cut-off time Friday this week, April 6, will be processed on Tuesday.
“No penalties will be charged for checks dated April 9 intended for PSBank loan payments,” the bank’s advisory clarified.

Also, time deposits maturing on April 9 will be processed on Tuesday, it added.
