Actress Maxene Magalona tied the knot with model-musician Rob Mananquil in the one of the many picturesque island destinations in the country, Boracay Islands, on Thursday.

The event was attended by the pair’s family and close friend in and out of the entertainment universe.

As she walked down the aisle with all eyes taking in her sartorial elegance, Maxene was dressed in white Vera Wang wedding gown, paired with a long sheer veil edged in lace. Rob was also a vision in white.

She also held a matching bouquet with a locket in the middle as tribute to her late father, rapper Francis Magalona.

White outfits also dominated her entourage which included actress Julia Montes, Miss World 2013 Megan Young, and her sister Lauren.

The wedding ceremony was held at the opulent Shangri-La’s Boracay Resort and Spa.

Among the celebrities spotted at the event include on-screen partners Janella Salvador and Elmo Magalona, TV host Tim Yap, and actor Mikael Daez.

Maxene’s younger sister and matron of honor, Saab, was not present at the ceremony due to her pregnancy. Saab is expecting twins.

“Today my maid of honor gets married and, as her matron of honor, I’m so sad that I can’t be with her physically. I recently learned that I’m not allowed to travel anymore until after the twins’ birth. I really wish I could be there, but with her big and selfless heart, she told me not to worry about it because the safety of my babies is what’s most important. I love you, [Maxene], and I am currently crying buckets from Manila. (I’m also wearing my matron of honor dress in bed like a crazy woman. It’s the hormones.),” Saab said in her message as she shared a photo of them on Instagram.

Maxene and her partner, Rob, first disclosed their relationship to the public in 2015. The couple got engaged in Japan last February.
