MANILA Gilas Pilipinas head coach Chot Reyes has revealed the players to be included in the Gilas Cadets program ahead of the Philippines’ hosting of the 2023 FIBA World Cup.

College basketball stars and high school standouts headline Reyes’ “23 for 23”, where he bared the names on Twitter Friday.

San Beda College’s Robert Bolick and Javee Mocon; Lyceum of the Philippines University’s CJ Perez; University of the Philippines’ Juan Gomez de Liaño and Paul Desiderio; Ateneo de Manila University’s Matt Nieto, Thirdy Ravena, and Isaac Go; National University’s JJay Alejandro and Josh Sinclair; Far Eastern University’s (FEU) Arvin Tolentino; and De La Salle University’s Abu Tratter consist the college stars making the Gilas Cadets pool.

Towering centers Kai Sotto and AJ Edu make up the high school sensations in the list along with Carl Tamayo and Will Gozum.

Four US National Collegiate Athletic Association players also made the cut in Arizona State’s Remy Martin, California State’s Dwight Ramos, California State-Northridge’s Kobe Paras, and Wake Forest’s Troy Rike.

Completing the list are FEU’s Kenneth Tuffin, Letran’s Jeo Ambohot, and San Beda’s Kenmark Cariño.
