73% of Filipinos believe EJKs happen
According to the recent Pulse Asia survey released on Monday, majority of Filipinos believe that there are extrajudicial killings happening in the Duterte administration’s battle in eliminating illegal drugs in the country.
In the survey conducted from September 24 to 30, 2017, respondents were asked “Do you believe or not believe that extrajudicial killings or EJK are happening in the implementation of the campaign against illegal drugs?
”
Out of the 1,200 Filipinos, 73 percent agreed that there is EJK happening.
On the other hand, when they were asked “Do you support or not support the campaign against illegal drugs of the administration of President Duterte?
”
Eighty-eight percent said they support the war on drugs.
