Pulong refuses to show tattoo alleged to be that of the Triads

Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte refused to take the challenge of Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV to bare the tattoo on his back, which according to the senator is evidence that would reveal his membership in a Chinese organized crime syndicate, known as Triad.

During the hearing on Thursday, Trillanes, confident about his accusations hope to change the mind of the young Duterte by repeating the question of his willingness to show the tattoo in public and have it photo’d, aside from that, Trillanes also mentioned about sending the photo to the US Drug Enforcement Administration for further investigation, but Duterte’s answer remained steady, no way, it is.

Trillanes admitted his personal lack of knowledge about the tattoo on the back of Duterte, but cited that he was informed by some intelligence from another country. He described it to be a colored dragon-like figure with “sacred digits”.

In an interview with reporters, Lawyer Rainier Madrid, counsel of Duterte said that his client was close to giving in to Trillanes’ demand to show the tattoo in public but he was against the idea because according to him Duterte’s admission of having a tattoo is already enough, exposing it would mean they are gullible, he cited that they wouldn’t fall into his trap as he is just playing a game of propaganda.
