Philippines bags Miss Asia Global 2017

The Philippines’ series of consecutive success continued as the country’s representative took home the Miss Asia Global 2017 crown last Tuesday.

Philippine bet Mary Eve Adeline Escoto won Miss Asia Global 2017 in the coronation night held in Kerala, India last November 21. She bagged the crown and one Lakh Indian Rupees.

Miss Asia Global pageant hunted for the most beautiful and talented women from the Asian region organized by the house of Pegasus.

Aside from winning the crown, the 23-year-old physical therapist and a native of Guimaras, Iloilo, also won special awards such as Best in National Costume, Best in Formal Wear, and the Missosology Choice award.

Meanwhile, China’s bet Honey Tian Mi was named Miss Asia 2017, while Basgkortostan’s Regina Mukhamadieva and India’s representative Akanksha Mishra were tagged as first runner-up and second runner-up respectively.

Just for the month of November, some Filipina beauties achieved victory in international pageants.

Karen Ebasco spearheaded the kick-off of the 2017 pageant season as she brought home the Miss Earth crown. It was then followed by Teresita ‘Winwyn’ Marquez who was crowned as the first Filipina Reina Hispanoamericana.

Miss Philippines Nelda Ibe was also named as first runner-up at the Miss Globe 2017.

This coming November 27, Rachel Peters, the country’s bet to the Miss Universe pageant, will be competing for the throne in Las Vegas, Nevada.
