Uson, Roque among PDP Senate bets for 2019

MANILA — Partido Demokratiko Pilipino–Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) secretary-general and House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez on Friday announced the ruling party’s line-up of senatorial candidates for the 2019 midterm elections.

Alvarez said included in the senatorial line-up are presidential spokesperson Harry Roque, Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) assistant secretary Margaux Uson, and presidential political adviser Francis Tolentino.

Also in the party’s list of candidates for the Senate are Davao City Rep.

Karlo Nograles, Negros Occidental Rep. Albee Benitez, and Bataan Rep. Geraldine Roman.

He made the announcement during the mass-oathtaking of new members of PDP-Laban in Cebu City. (PNA)
