JoshLia to star with Sharon, Robin in an upcoming film

The hottest loveteam Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto confirmed that they would be joining two movie icons Sharon Cuneta and Robin Padilla in an upcoming film.
This was announced by Barretto and Garcia in an interview with ABS-CBN News on Tuesday, following the success of their movie entitled Love You to the Stars and Back (LYSB).
“May gagawin kaming pelikula [We will do a film]. Very exciting ito [this] with Ms. Sharon Cuneta and Sir Robin Padilla. Abangan na lang po natin ang magiging storya niya pero malupit po ito [Let us just wait for the story, I’m sure it is going to be a blast],” Garcia said.
Garcia and Barretto were promoting their partnership with streaming service iflix, which will showcase their movie Love You to the Stars and Back online.
Barretto, for her part, chimed in: “We were very shocked but at the same time, we really just grabbed the opportunity because this doesn’t happen all the time. We are going to be working with icons.
”
Garcia added that Cuneta and Padilla rarely have movies together and that they were happy that they were give roles in the film.
In September, the megastar has dropped a clue that she will do a reunion movie with Padilla, adding that it would be a romantic-comedy film.
“I cannot wait because Robin is really my favorite person to work with.
He’s like my twin; ganyan ang tawagan namin, kambal [that’s what we call each other, twins]. We are very much alike. My happiest shooting experiences have always been with Robin,” Cuneta said in excitement.
The iconic movie stars starred in the box office hits “Maging Sino Ka Man,” “Di Na Natuto,” and “Pagdating ng Panahon.”
Meanwhile, JoshLia announced that they will also have their own television show, but details of the show have yet to be disclosed next month.
Garcia and Barretto first worked together in the 2016 Filipino teen romantic movie entitled Vince and Kath and James, followed by a 2017 Filipino romantic comedy film Love You to the Stars and Back.
