MMDA advises motorists on weekend road repairs

MANILA — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) is advising motorists to use alternate routes as the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) conducts its weekend road reblocking and repairs in the cities of Quezon, Pasig, and Caloocan.

In its traffic advisory Friday, the MMDA said the following areas will be closed to motorists starting from 11 p.m. on September 15 until 5 a.m. Monday, September 18:

SOUTHBOUND:

  1. Along Bonifacio Avenue between Mauban St. to Sgt. Rivera, Quezon City (Outer lane)
  2. Along C-5 Road near Lanuza Avenue, Pasig City
  3. Along Mindanao Avenue after Tandang Sora fronting Shell, Quezon City (2nd lane)
  4. Along EDSA corner Roosevelt, Quezon City (2nd lane)
  5. Along E. Rodriguez Jr. Avenue before and after Greenmeadows Ave., Quezon City (1st lane from center island)
  6. Along E. Rodriguez Jr. Avenue after Boni Serrano Flyover, Quezon City (truck lane)

NORTHBOUND:

  1. Along Mac Arthur Highway near Monumento Circle, Caloocan City
  2. Along C.P Garcia Avenue from University Ave. to E. Jacinto St., QC (2nd lane)
  3. Along V. Luna Road from East Avenue to Kalayaan Ave., Quezon City
  4. Along Manila East Road infront of SM East Ortigas, Pasig City
  5. Along Quirino Highway corner La Mesa Dam Road, Quezon City (3rd lane)
