MANILA— The Bureau of Treasury (BTr) has fully awarded the 91-, 182-, and 364-day Treasury bills (T-bills) worth PHP15 billion on Monday’s auction.

The T-bills auction was more than twice oversubscribed with total tenders reaching PHP32.3 billion.

“Average rates came in below secondary market levels across all tenors amidst healthy market demand,” the national treasury said..

Average rate for the 91-day T-bill offered settled at 2.161 percent.

Demand for the short-term debt paper was the highest on Monday’s auction attracting tenders of PHP16.196 billion.

On the other hand, yield for the 182-day T-bill was at 2.577 percent while rate for the 364-day paper was at 2.946 percent.

The T-bills will be issued on Wednesday with maturity date of Nov. 15, 2017 for the 91-day tenor, Feb. 14, 2018 for the 182-day tenor, and Aug. 15, 2018 for the 364-day tenor.
