When: Saturday, July 1st 2017

On July 1st, a countrywide drumming celebration known as the Canada 150 Atlantic to Pacific Celebration will celebrate Canada’s 150th anniversary of Confederation and the success of Canadian multiculturalism. All Canadians from all walks of life including First Nations, immigrants – early and new, people from all cultures, of all ages, are invited to participate in this once-in-a-life-time remarkable experience! This simultaneous, national drumming celebration will unite everyone to celebrate Canada’s birthday and achieve its own all Canadian world record celebration. A federal non-profit organization, The Legacy 150 Celebrations Society, took initiative in organizing this special event.

With the support from all regions, this celebration also aims to achieve a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™  in Vancouver, BC, for “Most Nationalities in a Drum Circle” (single venue).

This historic event will not only hope to achieve a breaking record, but will also symbolize the unity of Canada and the celebrate Canada’s 150th Anniversary of Confederation.
