DND allocates PHP5.9B for 2 long-range patrol aircraft

MANILA— The Department of National Defense (DND) is allocating the sum of PHP5,976,000,000 for the acquisition of two long-range patrol aircraft.

The budget, which will be sourced from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Modernization Act Trust Fund, also includes the sensors, sensors integration, mission support facilities and integrated logistics support package.

Winning bidders must deliver the aircraft and its associated systems within 1,035 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed.

They must also have completed, within the last ten years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the project.

Pre-bid conference is slated for June 16, 10 a.m. at the DND Awards Conference Room, Basement, DND Building, Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City.

While submission and opening of bids is on June 30, 10 a.m. at the same venue.
