SMB, Star collide in PBA’s Easter twinbill

MANILA–As the PBA returns after taking two nights off, it will be highlighted by how it restarted.

San Miguel and Star, the two teams that figured in the season opener on Nov. 20, will face off in the league’s Easter Sunday offering at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

The match, scheduled for a 6:45 p.m. tip-off, was looming to be a battle of unbeaten squads in the Commissioner’s Cup only that the Hotshots suffered their first loss of the mid-season conference at the hands of Barangay Ginebra San Miguel on Palm Sunday.

Still, it will not lack intensity as the Hotshots will now try to play spoilers to the Beermen’s unbeaten record bid.

In the first game at 4:30 p.m., Blackwater looks to sustain its revived winning ways as it takes on Meralco.
